HAVAS
Havas is one of the world’s largest global communications groups, with more than 22,000 people in over 100 countries.
I’ve worked with five or six different teams across Havas’ global network since 2017, producing a variety of culture and communications content that’s been distributed globally on both their internal and public-facing channels.
Content has ranged from comms videos with global CEO’s, internal product roll-outs, outward-facing culture videos, leadership conferences, team building events, and a branded content series with industry executives on what makes media experiences meaningful.
Some of the projects have involved international travel, and it’s been great to get to work with so many teams and executives across the network.
HAVAS NEXTGEN – 2018
Went to London with Havas Group in September of 2018 to document their NextGen leadership conference at the Havas King’s Cross building.
The week of working with leaders across Havas’ global network, and getting a taste of the energy of a daily London commute, made it one of my favorite jobs I’ve done with Havas.
Renting production gear in London can be problematic and time-consuming for a non-citizen, so this job was all about putting together an air travel-friendly package, with the kind of quality gear to light and shoot 3-camera, 2-subject interviews, while being mobile and modular enough to cover simultaneous panels and breakaway rooms.
And service a last minute request: headshots of all participants!
The one-man band machine was in full effect for this one, and the kit worked out great.
HAVAS NEXTGEN – 2024
A return to Havas Village London, Kings Cross in September 2024 with Havas’s Global People team to create a video refresh for the NextGen senior leadership program.
I made the program video in 2018, and the new direction for this year’s refresh beyond featuring a new generation of leaders from around the network, was the focus on leading and inspiring teams in times of seemingly endless change, innovation and competition in the industry.
Along with what I documented in London, we incorporated interviews and footage from the previous year’s NextGen during the Lisbon module, shot by an excellent videographer there.”
