Matthew has been a prolific video shooter and editor for Engadget over the past several years. He has worked with our primarily New York-based product reviews team on myriad videos, including reviews of high-profile products that were very important to us editorially. Some of these assignments were also embargoed, requiring a tight turnaround and a discreet touch. Matthew has consistently been able to work with these sometimes-short deadlines, always showing close attention to detail as both a shooter and an editor.

I’ve worked with Matt over a number of years with various companies on projects both large and small, and through it all, his professionalism, humor and talent has shown through.  Some people are naturals on camera, most often they are not.  Matt’s calming presence and general demeanor puts the most nervous subject at ease.  The videos he’s put together for me have always been of the highest quality, despite often working with the smallest brief.  On almost every shoot, I have turned to him to provide guidance that invariably makes the finished project better.  

Matthew is wonderful to work with.  I worked as a Producer with him on two different shoots.  He’s punctual, professional, and detail oriented.  He as a great vision and ensures the job gets done.  He has a fun personality and I would love the opportunity to work with Ground & Vision in the future!
